The book of Zen - Eric Chaline

This is one of those $2 books that promise a summative view on a particularly intangible topic. In this case, our topic for today's lesson is Zen - strange sexual cult with a fetish for minerals, or a magical power that Asians possess involving the ability to hurl fire bolts from their fists when chanting a particular incantation. You'll be happy to know that after reading the book, the answer is neither.

I would not recommend this book. When I find a good book on Zen, I'll let you know, until then ponder this : "how does a man without hands clap?"
